Editorial Standards
Editorial Standards
A Little Something publishes educational wellness content to help readers understand common supplement and nutrition questions in plain language.
How we research
For health, nutrition, and supplement topics, we prioritize authoritative and primary sources such as the National Institutes of Health Office of Dietary Supplements, peer-reviewed research, systematic reviews, and established professional-society position statements. We distinguish established evidence from emerging findings and avoid presenting association as proof of cause and effect.
How we write
Articles are written for consumers, not to replace individualized medical advice. We aim to answer the search question directly, explain practical context, include limitations where they matter, and link readers to the sources used to support substantive claims.
Product references
A Little Something sells dietary supplements. When an article mentions one of our products, we identify the product as a commercial option rather than treating it as independent evidence. Educational conclusions are based on external evidence, not on the fact that we sell a related product.
Health and safety
Supplement needs vary by age, health status, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, dietary pattern, and other factors. Readers with medical conditions or questions about individualized use should consult a qualified healthcare professional.
Updates and corrections
We update articles when material evidence, guidance, product information, or safety information changes. When a substantive correction is needed, we revise the affected content rather than changing dates simply to make an article appear newer.
